The “Combined ALICE Week and ALICE Physics Week 2013-Wuhan” will be held at the Central China Normal University, Wuhan, China from October 10 to 18, 2013.

All colleagues who are interested should register to the workshop as early as possible following the second announcement that was sent earlier this month by the organizers.

 The workshop, organized by the Institute of Particle Physics at Central China Normal University, will take place in the Scientific Hall on the campus of Central China Normal University. During the workshop several rooms will be available for offline meetings and collaboration board meetings.

The official scientific program of the Week starts on the 10/10 and ends on the afternoon of the 18/10. The Combined ALICE Week and ALICE Physics Week consist of three parts as below:

  • Part I: O2 meeting (Thursday - Friday, Oct. 10-11)
  • Part II: ALICE Physics Week including a half-day city tour (Saturday - Wednesday, Oct. 12-16)
  • Part III: ALICE Week (Thursday - Friday, Oct. 17-18)

Moreover, the organizers have scheduled a Junior's day, a half day activity during the APW+AW, giving the chance to ALICE Juniors to present their analysis connecting through Vidyo from Europe.

The workshop is sponsored by the ALICE Collaboration, China Center of Advanced Science and Technology (CCAST), Central China Normal University (CCNU), the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), China Institute of Atomic Energy (CIAE), Center of Nuclear Matter Science (CNMS), Ministry of Education of China (MOE), Ministry of Science and Technology of China (MOST) and National Natural Science Foundations of China (NSFC).
