Two classes of the "Lycée Jules Viette" from Montbéliard visited ALICE, on the 10 May 2013.

The students were given the opportunity to get a glimpse of CERN and to visit the ALICE experiment at Point 2. At ALICE, students were given a tour of the experiment and taken through the exhibition and the control room before going down to the cavern.

For some students, visiting ALICE was their first real introduction to particle physics. They were able to link the knowledge they have acquired throughout their three years of high school and the world of research in particle physics.

Following the visit an article appeared on the site of the "Academie de Besançon". You can find it here.
