On November 29 at 2pm, Magdalena Djordjevic will give a summary on dynamical energy loss formalism and comparison with experimental data, within the frame of the ALICE Journal Club events.

Abstract: Dynamical energy loss allows generating reliable predictions of high pt suppression. In this talk, an overview of the dynamical energy loss formalism will be provided, followed by comparison of theoretical predictions with experimental data. It will be also discussed how contribution of different steps in the suppression scheme participate in complex suppression patterns at LHC and RHIC.
