The 2015 ALICE week outside CERN will be hosted by the GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research in Darmstadt, Germany. This meeting will take place from June 22 – 26 and almost coincides with the start of the second round of data taking at the CERN Large Hadron Collider, when the first collisions of protons at a new record energy of 13 TeV are expected to take place. Aside from the usual meeting structure, this time the focus will be on the upgrade programme of ALICE in preparation for further physics data taking planned in the year 2020.
