A postdoctoral position in high-energy heavy-ion experimental physics is available at the University of Jyväskylä , Finland. The position, which will be based between the University of Jyvaskyla and CERN, will commence on 1 September 2011, and last for 2+1 years.

The focus of the work will be on hard-scattering phenomena in p + p and high-pT probes in lead-lead collisions, from ALICE. In addition, the post will also involve some teaching duties.
