Two officers, Ms. T. Iwaoka and Ms. A. Wada, of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) paid a visit to CERN on February 14 - 15. The purpose of the visit was to find out how effectively the JSPS programme ”strategic young researcher overseas visits programme for accelerating brain circulation” works to support Japanese young researchers at CERN. Currently, ALICE, ATLAS, COMPASS, and theory have been supported from this JSPS programme.
